About the vacancy:
COOMBES is seeking a skilled Commercial Administrator to provide professional and comprehensive support for commercial activities, projects and delivery across the business.
Often acting as a first point of contact, you will work closely with the Commercial Officer and project delivery teams to accurately collate the essential commercial information that helps to keep our projects on track.
Day-to-day duties will include maintaining spreadsheets, trackers and systems to a high degree of accuracy, providing data and metrics for internal financial and project reports, coordinating client timesheets and tracking billing reports and payments. You will collaborate with internal teams, clients and subcontractors to coordinate and minute project meetings and to track any follow-up actions that result.
In this exciting new role, you will provide a central, essential function that supports the commercial decisions and activities across all areas of the business.
You will be a skilled administrator who wants to further your career in commercial operations. You’ll be keen to understand our business, what we do, how we do it and how your role can positively impact commercial activities.
Super-organised, tenacious, and process-driven, you’ll enjoy taking a proactive approach to see projects through to completion. Adept at spreadsheets, trackers and other systems, and with a good eye for detail, you’ll be able to accurately capture, record, and report on essential commercial data.
Your friendly manner and excellent interpersonal skills will allow you to build effective, collaborative working relationships with colleagues, clients and contractors across all levels of business.
