COOMBES require an experienced Machine Operator to carry out mechanised tree felling and dismantling works in clear fell, thinnings and Duty of Care works. You must have significant experience of large-scaled mechanised operations, as this role will involve daily use of a grapple saw.
You’ll be experienced in operating tracked and wheeled base machines at a good level of output to meet production targets. The successful candidate will require appropriate FMOCS/CPCS qualifications and have an excellent working knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards. As Grapple Saw Machine Operator, you’ll complete all operations in line with site management plans and risk assessments.
This role will be predominantly based South-Central England, but you may be required to travel further afield from time-to-time, as required.
The role will require you to be a self-motivated team member who can work both independently and ‘muck-in’ as part of a team. You will take pride in your work, complete tasks to a high standard, in line with COOMBES’s ethos and values.
