COOMBES requires a Management Accountant to support our busy Finance team across a range of operations, on a full time, permanent basis. This is a new role introduced to support our growth, and offers a great opportunity for a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills to make it their own. This is an exciting time to join COOMBES’s Finance team, which is undergoing some changes to effectively support the evolution of our Group structure and the associated procedural and reporting requirements.
The successful applicant will play a key part in managing day-to-day financial operations, providing insightful analysis, and supporting the growth and success of our business.
Your project accounting experience will be key in driving the process changes necessary to develop an efficient finance team. To support your success therefore, candidates should also have at least 5 years management accounting experience.
A professional qualification in Finance or Accounting is preferred, however strong AAT fully-qualified or equivalent candidates will be considered. The ideal candidate will have considerable knowledge of Sage 200, strong project accounting reporting with advanced MS Excel skills. Experience in Sage 50 payroll and in Contractor, Construction or Rail is also desirable.
